Ocean's Bounty: Where Freshness Meets Flavor

where do our fish and seafood come from?

Fishing area 51 – Indian Ocean, Western
Our exotic fish products come from the western part of the Indian Ocean, specifically from FAO fishing zone 51, with a focus on subareas 5.2 to 5.5. They are caught using certified traditional fishing boats and sustainable fishing methods that prioritize environmental responsibility. We bring these carefully caught fish directly to our customers in Germany. To ensure quality, our fish products are regularly inspected by trained fish biologists and veterinarians. This guarantees that our customers receive only the freshest and highest-quality fish.

Our exotic fish products come from two unique and fish-rich countries: Oman and Tanzania, both located on the western edge of the Indian Ocean.

Oman

Oman, a country with a centuries-old tradition of fishing, offers abundant fishing grounds along its coasts, stretching from the Gulf of Oman to the Arabian Sea. Fishing in Oman is largely operated by local communities using traditional fishing boats and environmentally friendly methods. This sustainable approach, combined with pristine waters, ensures that the fish are of exceptional quality. Omani fish products are internationally known for their freshness and diversity, including tuna, grouper, mackerel, and a variety of other seafood.

Tanzania

Tanzania, located on the East African coast, is famous for its rich marine biodiversity in the Indian Ocean. Especially around the coastal areas and the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba, fishing plays a vital role in the local economy. Tanzanian fisheries are known for catching species such as swordfish, snapper, and barracuda. As in Oman, traditional fishing practices are highly valued and strictly regulated to ensure sustainable stock management and environmental protection.

Quality Assurance

Our fish products from Oman and Tanzania undergo stringent quality checks. Regular inspections by trained fish biologists and veterinarians ensure that all products reaching our customers in Germany meet the highest standards. We place a strong emphasis on freshness, traceability, and compliance with international regulations and certifications.

By partnering with fisheries in Oman and Tanzania, we bring you the taste of the Indian Ocean—sustainably caught and delivered with the highest quality standards.
